Welcoming the Harker School Students in California to my workshop!

The students from the Harker School in California could experience traditional Japanese culture, authentic beautiful cuisine " Sushi ".

They learned the history of sushi, what ingredients were needed, how to cook vinegar rice, 4 tastes of Spherical Sushis, and 2 designs of Decorative Sushi Rolls.

We had such a precious time together.

Out of the wonderful experiences they had in Japan, it must be the best memory of their stay.

I really hope that they impress their families in their home country with new cooking skills from Japan.

アメリカ、カリフォルニアのハーカースクール（１４～１６歳）の学生達が私の寿司ワークショップを受講してくれました！彼らは寿司の歴史を学び、材料を調達し、酢飯の作り方、4種類の手鞠寿司と2種類の飾り巻き寿司の作り方を学びました。

少しの日本語しかわからないにもかかわらず、最後まで誰も諦めず私のレッスンについてきてくれて、時間ギリギリまでかかりましたが、見事に全員が完成させることが出来ました。

心より彼らを褒めてあげたいと思います。

この経験は、彼らにとって忘れられない日本での思い出になったことでしょう。

そして、アメリカに帰国後、ご家族やお友達にお寿司でおもてなしをして楽しんでもらえたら、この上なく嬉しく思います。
