The international guests of my sushi class in Sapporo and I really enjoyed a day together. They learned how to make Wagashi at the hands-on workshop.
We went to see the Buddha statue in Takino cemetery also. This Buddha statue was designed by Tadao Ando, a world-renowned architect.
It must be one of the best memories of her trip to Hokkaido, and impressing their friends in their home country.

Don't you just love authentic beautiful Japanese cuisine ”Washoku" ?
Washoku was added to the UNESCO Heritage list.
You can learn about Washoku from us who are experienced decorative sushi rolls and wagashi ( japanese sweets ) instructors.
We welcome international guests to our Sushi Roll and Wagashi Preparation School in Sapporo.
